This project, which falls within the framework of the Remedial Action Plan for the New Brunswick Drainage Basins, was carried out in collaboration  with the Tracadie-Sheila and Caraquet Drainage Basins, thanks to a  financial  assistance from the  New Brunswick Environmental Trust Fund (ETF). Southern Gulf of  St-Lawrence Coalition on Sustainability and Fisheries and Oceans are also partners in this project.

The portal comprises a secure collaboration tool that enables experts and environmental participants to contribute more efficiently to the work of the  Drainage Basins community groups, and, an easy to use online mapping tool.  With these tools, Drainage Basins Managers acquire  more autonomy on a technological point of view and the citizens involved in the preservation of their environment can now be active actors in the remediation of their ecosystem.
