The
Collectivit ingnieuse de la Pninsule acadienne (CIPA) inc. has created
a portal site (www.peninsuleacadienne.ca),
which hosts all sectors of activity in the community. The portals main
objective is to mobilize the community by inviting citizens to take an
active part in its development and evolution, to contribute to the websites
content and use it to search for information they may need, thereby saving a
considerable amount of time and money.
This
modular and progressive portal will include links to various websites, which
will be updated by the sites owners.
This community
portal will offer the following applications and services:
historical, geographical, demographic, climatic, socio-economic and other
data
an e-mail address book
a
regional e-commerce market
a market for Acadian cultural and tourism products
Internet hosting for municipalities, businesses, associations,
