Community Support Services director in Paris
Mr. Jean Lanteigne, CIPA Community Support Services director, was invited to
Paris by the D�l�gation � l'am�nagement du territoire et � l'action
r�gionale for the Entretiens Internationaux de l'am�nagement et du
d�veloppement du territoire. Mr. Lanteigne attended the seminar, which took
place on January 21, 22 and 23, where he presented the smart community
project. A booth was offered to the CIPA, where Mr. Lanteigne had the
opportunity to meet with various organizations. Approximately twenty
organizations said they would like to learn more about the project. Visitors
demonstrated a vivid interest in the \"smart community\" title, as
well as in the Virtual Resource Centre (municipal component) prepared by the
CIPA. Mr. Lanteigne said he was very satisfied with this meeting, aimed at
strenghtening business relations with the international francophone
community.
